Folks, we are sick and tired of the misleading rubbish we have seen repeated endlessly in the financial and general media, and we wish to set the record straight so that our readers can have a more accurate understanding of the Japanese experience over the past twenty years -- a particularly relevant exercise, we think, since we are likely headed in the "Japanese direction," so to speak.
