Well folks, if there is a bull market in anything, it is in financial schemes. Most of these schemes appear to be emanating from the U.S. Treasury or the Federal Reserve. The Great Unwashed (that would be all of us mere mortals) are being informed, in stentorian tones, that our Government is working assiduously to protect LITTLE 'OL US from the credit crisis and other assorted hobgoblins. Yes, it's all in your minds, folks! ALL IS WELL. We are going through tough times (ie., ruinous for some, devastating for many, horrifying for a "few" imprudent souls who bought more mortgage than they should have -- unlike the wise owls otherwise known as banks, we suppose, who never departed from the rigorous standards of prudence, ho ho), but the economy is SOUND.
